In the update, the son of the 76-year old who is losing her home tells reporter that he asked Gershon Alexander to get a loan for his mother. Ryan Karben still refuses to say which business associate asked him to do the closing, but the son says Alexander brought in Karben.)

End of July, 2008 The Ramapo Town Board (St. Lawrence, Friedman, Stein, Hunter and Yager) approves "surveying the 86-acre landfill as part of the legal process for the site to be subject to economic redevelopment." This same group had met with Puddingstone reps and engineers in a workshop on July 9.

August 1, 2008 Journal News publishes story about the Puddingstone application, and we post "Building Condos on the Dump," which traces the first $5,500 delivered to St. Lawrence’s personal political fund.

March 13, 2009  Gershon Alexander resurfaces as central figure in a RICO investigation, which is part of a lawsuit concerning an alleged swindle of an elderly woman.
